Growing up Elizabeth recall fond memories of her childhood Everday at 5 p.m., instead of playing with our fourth and fifth anatomy friends or sneaking out to the empty lot to running play ghost and animal b peerlesss, my brother and I had to go to Chinese School. Chinese School was mainly language- speech production, reading, writing- and exercises in politeness. Although these things argon common in all trails, but for the writer she precept it as an embarrement. It was an embarresment because the last thing she inadequacyed to do was to fancy Chinese. She wanted very much to be a American. And an American she was. She did wait in America, she spoke proper English, all the things that Americans could do she could likewise do. But going to Chinese school ment that she also had to own part in her natural heritage of Chinese. She is non seeing the sweetie of the language itself, shes only hearing the outdoors and context of Americans speaking English.

If she had only taken the time to pull ahead that community of all different decents are going finished what she is. oft people that are bi-lingual have better chances if aquiring jobs in areas where in that respect is a need for individuals that can speak more than one language. Being able to speak Chinese or subtile the history of where she came from does not make her any little of an American or any greater Chinese.
