Report into Exercise Scoping Yorkshire-Irish Connections, 1660-1930 Introduction Until 1922, Great Britain and Ireland were (politically, if not culturally) mavin nation. It should be noted that this sour was not confine to connections between Yorkshire and the modern country of Ireland, unless also include what is now Northern Ireland.
